Iris is an informational booklet about the human eye. Including their color and other scientific discoveries that make our eyes unique. The challenge of this project was to create something as scientific and educational as eyes to seem appealing and playful to read. That was achieved by incorporating illustrative drawings onto spreads and having them in dynamic positions. The spreads were brought back to its scientific origins by adding photographic textures onto the eyes and other elements.

Objective of this project was to redesign the book cover of an existing fictional novel. The alchemist is a famous book read worldwide and often portrayed a mysterious person in the desert traveling towards pyramids or utilize Egyptian styles heavily on the cover. The challenge of the project was to use primarily illustrative methods to communicate the story of the book. To create a more mysterious yet mystical mood, visual elements from each omen that the main character, Santiago, encountered was utilized instead. Creating a beautiful and mystifying pattern.
